Machine Learning I - Theory

Machine learning is popping up everywhere, but what is it exactly and how can I use it? In this workshop participants will learn about machine learning and its applications by taking a look at common supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and their implementation in Python through examples. The ethical implications of machine learning will also be discussed, which is particularly relevant for health data. This workshop will provide you the background knowledge necessary to complete the hands-on examples in the second Machine Learning workshop.
